KPRC is affiliated to British Cycling (affiliation no: 110345) and as such is covered by its insurance for clubs. This provides Third Party Public Liability lnsurance cover to the club and its officials. Please note that the club insurances DO NOT provide individual club members with any public liability insurance or any other insurance cover.

Club members are strongly encouraged to take out their own individual insurance, either through British Cycling or Cycling UK (formerly Cyclists' Touring Club), or another provider of their choice. Both organisations provide individual members with public liability cover, legal services and other benefits. More comprehensive cover for personal injury and loss/damage to your bike(s) may be available at discount through these organisations, or from other providers.

The British Cycling Insurance for clubs does not cover events (unless specific Event Insurance is taken out to cover that event). However, time trial events approved by Cycling Time Trials (CTT) will be covered by their third party insurance which provides indemnity for event officials, organisers and committees.
