Cafe stop rota - Saturdays:

Off road trail rides start at 10am from Horton Country Park in Horton Lane (near to the Old Moat Garden Centre).

Road rides start time and location is published to the members' Whatsapp group in the week before the ride, typically it is 9am or 10am from Horton Country Park or Horton Golf Centre. Road rides cafe destinations usually follow the coffee rota but can be different, so please check Whatsapp messages or contact Neil Warland neilwarland43@gmail.com

If you would like to meet us at the cafe stop we usually arrive between 11:15 and 11:40.

First Saturday of the month:

Road riders will go to Pinnocks coffee house - Ripley

The trail riders will ride to Esher Common, stopping at either the NT cafe at Claremont Gardens; Garson’s Farm garden centre or the West End Club Café (the choice depends on weather and how busy each is expected to be)

Second Saturday:

Road riders go to Clandon Park Garden Centre Coffee Shop, West Clandon

The trail riders will go to The Vineries at Effingham in the winter months and in the summer months stop at Ockham Bites near Wisley. As this is an open air cafe the decision as to which to go to can be weather dependent on the day at any time of the year.

Third Saturday:

Road riders; summer months (British Summer Time), go to Heather Farm, Chobham

Road riders other months go to The Vineries at Effingham.

The trail riders will usually go to one of the cafes around the Box Hill area – Ryka’s, Denbies Vineyard, the NT café at Box Hill or Destination Bike on Box Hill Road.  This may be varied in summer to go a bit further afield (to Reigate Hill café or to Brockham for instance).

Fourth Saturday:

Road riders, summer months (BST): Windsor. Starting from Kingston Bridge outside TK Maxx at 9am

Road Riders, other months: Polesden Lacey National Trust cafe - Bookham

The trail riders will usually go to Polesden Lacey National Trust cafe - Bookham

although we may often venture further afield on good days in summer.

If a fifth Saturday:

The road riders will go to Squires Garden Centre at Stoke D'Abernon or another venue as advised on Whatsapp., whilst the trail riders will often do something different, depending on the weather or season. Sometimes this could be an all-day ride, with details on our trail riders pages on our forum or they will be emailed out in advance. For details of the ride please email Andy Pearce.
